Kristi Fisher posted in the group More Marketing (Official)
Since the changes with Mailchimp (having to subscribe if more than 1 group is set up) I want to create a second account and transfer over a few of the groups because 2 companies are associated with them anyway. Anyone have tips on how to do this? I would rather pay 2 fees at $20 each than one account at $300!!! Seems outrageous for more than 5 audiences. Mailchimp got me all used to them for the last few years and then is forcing membership. I do not mind paying, but $300 is just too much! Suggestions on how I can spilt the audiences and not lose any information?

Hello Kristi,
We found a helpful blog from MailChimp that explains how to export your contacts, https://mailchimp.com/help/view-export-contacts/. We suggest reading the full document before you begin because it looks like information can be lost if it not done properly.
Here is another blog explaining how to import your contacts. https://mailchimp.com/help/import-contacts-mailchimp/.
We also looked for some helpful videos but they didn’t seem to include all the information and with something of this nature, following every step is important.
Please let us know if this helps or you need more information!
